We are accepting applications for crew members for the 2017 season. Both full-time and part-time as well as Saturday market sales opportunities are available. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with a little about yourself and why you'd like to work on our farm!
Our crew will help start seeds, transplant plant babies, cultivate weeds, stake and trellis plants, apply mulch and compost, and assist with other operational tasks necessary to keep the farm running.
Working in adverse weather conditions (cold and rainy, hot and humid, etc.) and persevering through strenuous physical activity are daily parts of working on the farm. On the plus side, you can cancel your gym membership!
Employees are responsible for understanding proper stage of harvest and post-harvest treatment of produce and flowers, harvesting efficiently and accurately, and assisting with weekly CSA shares and market prep.
Farm experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train individuals with an enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn quickly. Pay is hourly.
